Soulshaker & Katherine Ellis' Time 2 Play track has become the biggest commercial dance track in clubland this November after hitting the No2 position in both the MW Pop Chart and MW Club Chart as well as No1 in the DMC charts. The mix package also sees amazing remixes by 3 other teams from the Audiofreaks stable (Bassmonkeys, JD Rox and Stereojackers), putting our whole up the top of the charts.

The Music Week Chart commentary reads as follows:
"Two months after introductory single Obsessed peaked at number two on the Commercial Pop chart – it was well beaten by David Guetta and Akon’s Sexy Bitch/Chick – the second single from Mariah Carey’s Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel album goes one better. A cover of Foreigner’s 1984 AOR classic I Want To Know What Love Is, it was very nearly condemned to a number two peak too but finished up just 1.03% ahead of Soulshaker & Katherine Ellis’ Time 2 Play – the same track that is runner-up on the Upfront chart, and is by far the most popular track across the two charts as a whole, despite being number one on neither".

The guys were delighted to be nominated for the award a few weeks ago and it was just decided by the panel that Soulshaker should win the highly Prestigious MIRA (Music Industry Recognition Award) for 'Best Dance Music Producers'. Needless to say that Matt, Warren and Kelly are ecstatic.

The first radio station to hear Soulshaker & Katherine Ellis's 'Time 2 Play' track, Gaydar radio, has A-Playlisted the track, and we expect the reaction to be the same throughout.

Soulshaker's mix of Disrespectful now takes the No1 position in the DMC Club Chart, making this Soulshaker's 14th DMC top 10 chart position.

BBC Radio 2's Claudia Winkleman, played Soulshaker's Mix of Chaka Khan and Mary J Bliges 'Disrespectful' track on her 08/05/09 show. The Soulshaker guys various mixes and productions often get played on Radio One, but to get a play on an obscure radio Two show is great.

In the last month alone Soulshaker have pulled together to deliver full remix packages on several major releases for the US, including Crystal Waters next single, Aesha Waks ‘Fun Dip’, Destination X ‘A Little Secret’, as well as several other major projects. Soulshaker have also just secured the next Chris Willis project on EMI and will be putting this remix package together shortly.

In the last few months alone Soulshaker have remixed, written and or produced for the following artists: Crystal Waters, Mary J Blige, Robin S, Juliet Roberts, Ce Ce Peniston, Chaka Chan, Jocelyn Brown, Martha Wash, Kym Mazelle and Alison Limerick.

The Soulshaker guys definitely seem to be on the money with helping the labels to secure top chart positions. Soulshaker have now been a part of a phenomenal 12 No1 dance charts hits and around 40 top 40 MW Club chart Hits and with all their new up and coming releases and remixes this trend looks set to continue.

Katherine Ellis teams up with Soulshaker to follow on from her Worldwide Hit with the Freemasons, to deliver to new monster releases set to make some very big waves.
One of these tracks is a remake of her 90's hit 'Dreaming' originally released as Ruff Driverz feat Arola.

Sultana - Ti Amo, and a new version of the Olive classic 'You're Not Alone'.

Data have commissioned Soulshaker to add their touch to a classic 90's anthem called 'The Lover That You Are' by Pulse ft. Antoinette.
This mix is literally being worked on as we speak and will be up on the player in a week or two.

The Soulshaker guys were delighted to remix Vula's next single release saying that her vocals just totally blew them away. The guys delivered another anthem to help make this release entitled 'Money' the hit that it should be. See the Soulshaker player to hear the mix.

Peace was a huge National chart hit in the 90's and Soulshaker have just been commissioned to remix it for a 2009 release by top dance label 'Arts & Craft'.
The mix has turned out to sound like a fresh anthem and is to be featured on the March CD Pool Dance disc mailout.

The guys were approached by Carl at Ministry and Andy Wetson of Cd Pool etc, to remix an anthem in the making called ‘Nothing Going On But The Rent’ featuring Katherine Ellis. We think that the project as a whole will be a Hit for Ministry and the Ministry gang really like the remix too.

Great news, Soulshaker have just been awarded 'The Best Remix of 2008' for their mix of the Stargate / Ne-yo written, Lindsay Lohan track "Bossy" on Universal.

This week, at the beginning of another brand new year, the Soulshaker guys are straight back into the swing of things with their remixes already lining up.
Current remixes this week are a reworking of the classic Sabrina Johnson anthem 'Peace' for Incentive Records, a 2009 mix of another classic, Sandy B - You Make The World Go Round, again for Incentive, and a remix for Solitaire & Errol Brown.

After a highly successful couple of years with their productions and remixes, the first part of 2009 is all about developing their debut album. Some great artists are lining up to work with the guys on the album, and tracks are currently being finished with CeCe Peniston, Katherine Ellis, Robbie Craig & Steve Edwards. Soulshaker also have album tracks penned for Chaka Khan, Shola Ama, Eric Bennet and Kele Le Roc with more major artists coming through all the time.

Interscope commissioned Soulshaker to remix the Stargate produced, and Ne-yo written track entitled ‘Bossy’. The Guys smashed the mix to bits and it has just gone into the No1 spot in the Billboard dance charts. Click here to hear mix

We’ve not done that many DJ bookings in the UK of late, due to lots of bookings around the World over over the last year. We thought that it was about time to have another party in the UK, and in our home city of London. We were very pleased that the exclusive London club ‘China Whites’, in association with party organisers ‘Preferred Events’, wanted to host this exclusive Booking.

Soulshaker once again hit No1 spot in the UK’s MW Dance Chart and The Buzz Chart with their 2008 mix of the classic Floorfiller by Robin S ‘Show Me Love’ on Champion Records. The track originally released in '93 returned to the top 10 again in '97... The latest version gives the UK's oldest dance label, Champion, their first club No.1 of the 21st Century, thanks to Soulshaker.

Soulshaker have recently joined the leading DJ agency in the UK, Pure DJs. Paul at Pure DJs wanted another act to follow the success of the Freemasons and thought that Soulshaker would be perfect.

Soulshaker's Audiofreaks sessions radio show on Ministry of Sound radio, has been promoted and moved from Thursday nights to Sunday Daytimes between 12am and 2pm, just before the Hed Kandi show. Lots of the shows were cancelled in the new shake up at Ministry radio, and others made monthly, but Soulshaker feel extremely honoured to have been actually promoted to a primetime slot.
